YouTube tools FAQ

Are these YouTube tools free?

Yes. Every tool is free to use with no account and no watermark. Images are created and processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Which tool should I use to make a thumbnail?

Start in the thumbnail maker, then open the result in the thumbnail preview to see it at feed sizes. If you have two or three versions, compare them in the A/B tester before uploading.

How do I fix a thumbnail that’s too large to upload?

Drop it into the thumbnail resizer. It resizes the image to 1280×720 and saves it as a JPG under 2 MB, which uploads from both the YouTube app and desktop.

Are they connected to my YouTube channel?

No. Nothing signs in to YouTube or reads your channel data. You upload images and type text yourself, which keeps everything private.

Are the mockups official YouTube designs?

No. They recreate the general layout of YouTube’s pages without official logos. Mocknex isn’t affiliated with YouTube or Google.
