These tools are not connected to any AI service and don't show real responses — you write both sides. That makes them useful for scripting a demo before recording, illustrating a prompt-writing lesson, or showing an idea in a pitch without screenshots of real accounts. Are these connected to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
No. Mocknex isn't affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity or xAI. The layouts are inspired by each product so viewers recognise the format, and you write every message yourself.
Can I format the assistant's answer?
Yes. Use blank lines for paragraphs, “- ” for bullet points, “1. ” for numbered lists, **double asterisks** for bold and `backticks` for inline code.
Is it okay to post these?
For tutorials, satire that is clearly labelled, and design work, yes. Don't present a mockup as a real response from an AI company or use it to mislead people about what a product said.
