Fake Read Receipt Generator
Set exactly what the receipts say: grey or blue ticks, “Delivered”, “Read 9:41 AM”, “Seen” or a tiny avatar — in the visual language of each chat app.
Read receipts carry a lot of emotional weight in a screenshot. “Read 2:14 AM” with no reply tells a story on its own. Every app shows receipts differently, though: WhatsApp uses ticks inside the bubble, iMessage writes “Read” under your last message, Instagram says “Seen”, Messenger shows the person's avatar, Signal uses circled checks and LINE shows “Read” beside the time. This tool lets you control each message's receipt and compare how it reads across apps.

Tips for a more convincing Read Receipts mockup
- The later the “Read” time, the funnier (or sadder) the screenshot: 2:14 AM hits harder than 3:00 PM.
- Use Delivered on the last message to show the other person hasn't opened it yet.
- WhatsApp shows ticks on every message — make older ones blue and the newest grey for a just-sent feel.
- In iMessage style only your newest message shows a receipt, so keep the important one last.
- A “Sending” clock icon suggests a bad connection — handy for travel scenes.
