Three years ago I shipped a feature nobody used. It was the best thing that happened to my career. Here's what I learned about talking to users before writing a single spec 👇 #productdesign #ux

Fake LinkedIn Post Generator

Preview a LinkedIn-style post with your name, headline, post age, text, image, reaction count and the Like, Comment, Repost and Send bar.

LinkedIn posts live or die on the first two lines and the headline under your name. A mockup shows how they'll actually read in the feed — useful for drafting thought-leadership posts, getting approval from a comms team, or showing a client what a company update will look like. It's also popular for satire about LinkedIn writing, which works best with fictional names.

  4. 4Upload an image or leave it out.

Tips for a more convincing LinkedIn Post mockup

  • LinkedIn shows about three lines before “…see more” — make them count.
  • Short paragraphs with blank lines read better than one block.
  • Two or three hashtags at the end is plenty.
  • Reactions are usually 10–30× comments on a typical post.
  • Use your real headline when drafting your own posts.

Use it responsibly. Mockups are for entertainment, education, design and storytelling. Don’t present them as real conversations, don’t impersonate real people, and never use them as evidence or to deceive anyone. Read our acceptable use policy.
