How to add a typing indicator to a chat
- 1Choose a style — iMessage is the default here.
- 2Write the conversation up to the moment of suspense.
- 3Choose More → Typing indicator above the message box, then click the other person under Send as.
- 4Set the header status to “typing…” for styles that show it (WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram).
- 5Press Play in the preview to see the messages appear and the indicator pause.
